Y aunque tratándose de Burton, Elfman ya tiene un estilo musical muy característico y reconocible, siempre encuentra la manera de hacerlo diferente para cada cinta, sea de Burton o no. Y ahora le toca el turno a Alicia en el País de las Maravillas, cinta con mucha magia, que requiere igualmente el toque mágico, y misterioso y en algunos momentos lúgubre del señor Elfman.
